keyboard problem

After a repair install from my hard drive of Win XP, my H-P wireless
keyboard was installed as a HID keyboard device. The buttons for
controlling the cd/dvd drives, volume indicators, programmable web sites,
etc. are no longer operable and do not show options for setting in control
panel.

Tried searching H-P site and re-installing device. No good. Tried using
setup in KBDSW directory. Won't work.

Any help appreciated.

You have to install the keyboard drivers for the media and
programmable keys to be functional. If you don't have it,
it should be available on the HP site.

I searched the HP site. There is no model number that I can see on the KB.
Drew a blank. Will try again.
