The closest method using group policy would be to set the option locally on
each client, then restrict access to that control panel applet for those
users in a group policy. The setting to do the restrictions is at User
Configuration->Administrative Templates->Control Panel in GPEDIT.MSC. The
setting is "Hide specified Control Panel applets".
Thanx for ya answer, but the problem ist we have HP Thinclients with windows
ce on it, and i can only activate the german keyboard but on windows ce i
cannot activate german -ibm keyboard.
So I have to activate it on the server, or force the server not to take the
remote layout as default !
any suggestions ?
I'm afraid I won't have a solution for you on this. That's not to say it
can't be done, just that I am not aware of a method to do this in your
unique situation using group policy.
