Keyboard entry for certain keys

Hi All,

This is a strange one, I am trying to put some text in the criteria field on
a query however I cannot seem to type a T, H, S, C or a V character. This
happens in both the design view and also the SQL view.

I haven't touched Access for over 10 years so I may be doing something silly
but I can't figure it out.

Anyone any ideas?

p.s. If I press the V key it comes up with configuring office speech
recognition, all I want to do is type the V character.

Thanks,
Gary

Hi Doug,

It was just a new project with some linked tables to SQL. That was as far as
I had got so no macros were defined. I closed Access down and opened up the
db again and it seems to work fine now. It's a bit of a mystery what was
happening though.

Thanks for replying.

sounds like a stuck Ctrl key or something similar, not Access. Glad you got
it back to normal.
