hi,
my problem is that to write anything (documents, conversations etc.) typing
is very delayed, I have to remain pressing the letter I want for a while
before it appears on the screen. My keyboard is an HID Keyboard in USB Port,
I have already tried to unistall & reinstall in Control Panel. Please
help,thank you in advance!

Hi MG:

Unless you have a Bluetooth keyboard, the keyboard and the wireless
receiver have to be in direct line-of-sight with each other. To put it
another way, if you were the keyboard you need to be able to clearly see
your receiver. Point the two directly at each other and move everything
else out of the way.

Something else to try is to check your battery strength.

She never said it was a wireless keyboard though.

If everything on your computer is very slow it's likely there is some
application using up so much CPU time or memory that your typing is being
delayed. If everything else works normally, I would guess that at some point
you either held down your right shift key for 8 seconds or someone's playing
a prank on you and enabled filter keys. You can check this by going to
control panel > accessibility options. Usually you would know if this is
enabled though because there would be a notification when it's turned on.
Hope that's it.
