I have just used Acronis to re-install my system and I'm getting the message...

Key used is already in use re-activate.

A Buy a new key
B I have another key
C Use automated phone.....

Whats going on with the activation, I've not up-graded mt hardware so this
should'nt have happened ?

Do I have to phone and get a activation code and if so will I have to do it
evertine this happens ?

Choose "C Use automated phone....."

Your Vista key shows as In Use because you already used it.

Use the phone option and just tell them you reinstalled, no problem.

Using Acronis, maybe Vista thinks you installed it on another computer?

Vista doesn't think. It's programmed to inconvenience paying customers
and to do nothing whatsoever to stop piracy.

Tired of this crap? Why don't you go Open Source with Ubuntu Linux? No
activation. No WGA. No DRM. No viruses. No malware. No anti virus
program needed and no anti malware program needed. Ubuntu comes with an
in-built firewall which, if you add a router hard firewall, is all you need.

Not only that, it comes with thousands of free programs and Ubuntu
itself is free.

Oh, go grow a sense of humor! pfffttt

Every once in a while, I like to clear out my killfile, to get rid of old
addy's, and frequent address changers like you, so I see some of your FUD.

By the way, my neighbor has an opening for someone to redistribute his
homegrown all natural equine plant food.

With your experience...

Sorry, I fail to see the humor. What I do see is a paying customer being
inconvenienced by the ineffective and flawed "anti piracy" programs. How
is that funny, pray tell?

Well ain't you the best thing since sliced bread? What FUD?

Trying to be cute and clever and use what you consider to be twenty five
dollar words again, eh?

Yawn.

No humor to see. What do you think is funny about it?

A sense of humor requires some intelligence. That's why you don't see
the humor.
Too bad...sort of...lol!

This is what was supposed to be funny, dear:

"Using Acronis, maybe Vista thinks you installed it on another computer?"

Please explain how that makes me the joke, dear.

Here's the humor:

"Using Acronis, maybe Vista thinks you installed it on another computer?"

Explain, Mr Intelligent, how that's funny. You can't because there's
nothing funny about that statement.

Translation: Frank can't explain it like I said and only used the
opportunity to hurl his insults again.

Why should I do anything for a POS who has a
tendency to threaten people with violence?

I never threatened anyone with violence. Visiting someone is not
violence. Fact is you can't explain it just like your buddy Frank.

Just as I said, you're too stupid to even know what's going on.

So you threatening to visit someone mob handed
in close proximity to mentioning a karate black belt
was supposed to be interpreted how exactly?

Don't bother... I don't believe a word you say.
