Hi freinds; Do you guys think that this is a duplicate registry for MSN
Messenger?
I read the instructions for Regedit, I followed then and I found this:

Key Name:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Class Name: <NO CLASS>
Last Write Time: 10/17/2005 - 5:29 PM
Value 0
Name: MSMSGS
Type: REG_SZ
Data: "C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe"
/background

Value 1
Name: MsnMsgr
Type : REG_SZ
Data: "C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\MsnMsgr.Exe"
/background

From my point of view the content is duplicated and also it have to be
edited. I have done nothing yet. I need help, please.
Anybody knows what changes have to be done?

My regards: Gabriel

Two different programs. The first one is Windows Messenger. Second is MSN
Messenger.

Instead of editing the registry (you can do it this way, I didn't), I
disabled these programs in their menus. Tools> Options in each program has
the settings that control startup behavior. Also in OE and Outlook
disabled messenger options and removed "contacts" from the Layout View in
OE.
