I am having problems with my new system: When playing Audio CD's I get
frequent BSoD, system reboot and then I find the
"%systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k" entry in the startup group.

My system is a P4775 3.0 , Asus P5P800, SoundBlaster Live running on WinXP
Pro SP2
Drive in question is an LG 4028B DVD burner connected on the secondary IDE
channel; no other devices attached there, and system reports DMA is on.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

Hi,

The entry occurs as a result of the BSOD, this is normal, expected behavior.
What is the exact text and error code in the BSOD? This will contains clues
as to what is wrong.
