Hello Kelly,
Yesterday, I was trawling this newsgroup's posts from
about 100 pages ago.
I downloaded your script named "hiderecyclebindesktop.reg",
"199. Hide Recycle Bin on Desktop - Not from Explorer",
from "http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm".
Whilst perusing the "magic" in your clever coding, I
noticed this error...
Second last key reads, in part, "\Group Policy bjects\"
instead of "\Group Policy Objects\".
Today I downloaded the script again - same result.
I have tried to search these posts for possible feedback
on this matter -
hiderecyclebindesktop.reg - no match.
Hide Recycle Bin on Desktop - Not from Explorer
yields "a million" matches, apparently for ANY of the
words in my search string.
Enclosing my search string in double-quotation marks was
rejected by this "Post" window - some complaint about
using punctuation.
(I am on CDO).
I hope that my method of bringing this matter to your
attention is acceptable.
Thank you,
Jan
