How can i enter Brandi Marks and Joe Blow in a cell so that when i resize it
the names never have the first name on one line and the last on another? I
mean Brandi Marks would be treated as if there was no space but the blank
acted as another character.

Try a non-breaking space.
Type the first name, then hold down <Alt>, and type 0160 *using* the numeric
keypad, *not* the numbers under the function keys, then type the last name.
