Keeping remote session active

Is there a way to keep the session on the remote computer
active while using Remote Desktop on XP, just as when
using Remote Assistance?

Im would like to use my laptop as a remote control for
the in-house TV server with TV-Out graphics card. Though
when I connect with remote desktop the session currently
logged in at the server is locked localy, thus only
showing the Welcome Screen on all the in-house TV screens.

Not currently (or at least not without having three seperate XP Pro
computers on the network)... VNC (http://ultravnc.sourceforge.net)
would work better for you in this case...
