Keeping existing computer name

Is there a way to keep the same computer name using a unattended network
install (upgrade) from windows 2000 to xp pro.
 
Hi,

you will have no problem to keep the computer name.see thew following.

Computer name needs to remain the same after the upgrade
- You will need to specify the same computer name in the unattend file


If the ComputerName entry is empty or missing, the end user must enter a
computer
name. If the value is *, Setup generates a random computer name based on the
organization name specified.
