Hi, Sorry if this is really basic and I'm missing something. But is it
possible to get a normal window in XP to remain always on top i.e. so you
can run and use another application in full screen mode whilst it remains
above it?

Thanks

You can't get it to remain but clicking the tab at the bottom of the screen
will redisplay it. The active screen will always be on top except for a few
exceptions. There are some programs that will remain on top but it is done
by programming and not user action.

And if you don't want to take your hands off the keyboard, just press
Alt-Tab until it comes back.

there used to be an old third party software(1996) which nails the
