keep loosing automatic configuration of wireless

since I did the SP2 upgrade, I keep loosing the "let
windows configure the wireless network" check box,
everytime I re-boot or change from wired to wireless, I
have to go into the properites of my wireless connection,
check the box and select my network again.

nothing I have tried works for long.

any ideas?

Deb,

I suspect you have installed some third party software, for
example some configuration utility that came with wireless
adapters. Try to uninstall that.
