keep getting shut down by remote proceedure call

I keep getting shut down by windows nt authority system,
saying that the remote proceedure call terminated
unexpectedly your system will shut down, it gives me 50
seconds to save stuff then shut me down, how do I stop
this? Lee

Disconnect from the internet, then go to Start, Run and enter SERVICES.MSC
Locate the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service and double click it. Go to
the Recovery tab and set the Recovery options to Restart the service,
instead of Restart the computer.

download the Microsoft patch for this issue.

Once done with the removal and the patch, go to SERVICES.MSC again, and put
the RPC service recovery options back to Restart the computer.
