Keep getting IE must close message

When I got to certain websites they start to load and then a message pops up saying
"IE has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

So then sometimes I send an error report and sometimes I don't and after I do or don't it says "An error has occurred in IE. IE will now close. If you continue to experience problems, please restart your computer." I've restarted numerous times of course but it won't stop doing this. I was wondering if theres a bug or virus or something that anyone knows of that causes this?
 
Hi 8Ball it sounds like you have the MY Doom virus on your computer. Go to Symantec and download the fix for it. Make sure when you run the fix to turn off "System Restore" first and close all open programs. When it has found the virus make sure you turn system restore back on again if you have XP or any version that has system restore on.
