keep getting error messagefter closing browser

eversince I installed some earthlink taskbar upgrades I
get this "Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a
problem and needs to close." message. The window has a
check box for restarting explorer nad a " send error
report" box as well. Unless I uncheck the restart buttton
it just keeps happening infinietly.
Sometimes it happens when I am between web sites. When it
does i can just drag it out of the way but soon I get some
error messge and and must close it because it won't work.
Any suggestions and if so in layman's terms because I
stink at this stuff. Thanks

contact earthlink support . and use a better browser that
is not brought to you by "hijacked by earth link" like
firefox from mozilla.org .
