Keep form fields from moving around

Guest

I have a job application that has places for users to type in information.
But when typing of data it moves the lines and other text fields around. How
is the best way to take an existing document and fix it where users can type
in information without moving other fields around?

Thanks,
KWH

Most forms designers find it simplest to put the form fields in a borderless
table, with auto resizing turned off and column width and row height
specified.

What part don't you understand? Do you know how to insert a table?

You can use the Borders and Shading dialog box to remove table
borders (Format | Borders and Shading in Word 97/2000/2002/2003). And
you set column widths and row heights in the Table Properties dialog
box (Table | Table Properties).
