KB917283 NetFramework 2.0 update

Cannot install the latest update (KB917283) for NetFramework 2.0 on
automatic updates.
The installation fails - tried twice.
Cannot find the file on the Microsoft website to manually download. Anyone
else having this problem?

Yeah, I have restarted many times, and tried many times, swith the same
result, I even tried with .net service running and not.

Me too. My main machine simply cannot install this update. I do have a
second machine with substantially fewer apps installed, and this update
installed fine on that one. Wish I knew what this update doesn't like
about my main machine....

Yep, doesn't work. It's not the first time. It wont be the last.
Anywho, I am sure they will fix it.

I am having the same problem, not only that my connection Icon is gone
even with it checked to load.
