KB912812 Cumulative Update for Internet Explorer problem !!!

Windows update KB912812, caused Canon Easy Web Print to stop functioning. I
now get script errors every time I try to use the program which is
intergrated into Internet Explorer. Uninstalling the windows update fixes
the problem. The problem is windows keeps installing the update and causes
the Canon Easy Web Print program from functioning !!

Does Microsoft know of this problem with their KB 912812 update?
