kb888111 - - HD audio driver - installation error

When I try to install kb888111 hotfix HD audio drivers for WinXP SP2 32bit I
get error: "update\update.exe not a valid win32 application".

Any suggestions? I have lost 1day of my life for microsoft.

Did you look behind the fridge? When you lose something it's nearnly always
