After installing this in Windows 2000 Server SP4 I noticed my Internal IOMEGA Zip Disk was being queried repeatedly during boot and during the logon. The events written to the Event Log were repetitive:

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: Disk
Event Category: None
Event ID: 32
Date: 12/11/2004
Time: 4:15:19 PM
User: N/A
Computer: HESTER2003
Description:
The driver detected that the device \Device\Harddisk2\DR2 has its write cache enabled. Data corruption may occur.
Data:
0000: 0f 00 04 00 01 00 62 00 ......b.
0008: 00 00 00 00 20 00 04 80 .... ..€
0010: 01 00 00 00 10 00 00 c0 .......À
0018: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........
0020: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........
0028: 00 00 00 00 ....

Upon looking for this issue at Microsoft I found this:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;830051

This is an unsupported hotfix which has to be obtained from Microsoft by calling 1-800-936-4900 and asking for it by name 830051. These are always delivered for the asking as long as you are experiencing the issue the article describes. Which I was. So I got and installed it. Rebooted and no more disk Warning.
