KB828026 update

[Osmodia]

How many times is microsoft going to push this at me?
It has come in as an auto update twice and also as a
critical update suggestion (which i downloaded) all 3 are
now installed.
Are there 3 different with the same number KB828026 ?

Hi,
Tried all that, went MS page and went through regedit
stuff as reccomended (though it was for SP1) and found
KB828026 is not registered in HKEY_ etc!
My PC supplier has not a clue and MS wont let me ask them
cos I am an OEM user!
The last update that registered properly was KB828028, is
that a clue?

You followed steps 4-7 and installed it manually?

Also in the registry, instead of Windows XP category, look in "Windows
Media Player"

Hi,
Yes, followed the steps and installed in manually, now I
have 4 updates installed (or not)and it still says i need
it1
Have looked in regedit under media player, there is
828026 stuff there, but a bit scared as quite what to do
do.

Click on 828026 so it is highlighted.
Click the delete key.
Follow prompts to delete the key
Reboot
