I have a Kazaa Lite K++ installed on my computer. After I
installed SP2 on my XP Pro, Kazaa can't download my
files. Is there a fix for this problem??

TIA,

yes had the same problem. I have Panda firewall installed which I closed down
when installed sp2. Found the ms firewall came up when accessed Kazaa lite
k++
You have 2 options either let it in or disallow it. I did not find this
satisfactory as I always used the option "allow this programme this time
only" option on my Panda programme (I assume other firewalls also give you 3
options)
Anyway disabled the MS firewall and enabled my Panda again.
Suggestions if you have a commercial firewall use it and close MS firewall.
If not and you want to reverse your decision to block out a programme goto
Control panel select security centre (which will be there if you have SP2
installed)
click on that then go to Windows firewall and click on exceptions. Once in
there you should have a list of programmes with boxes along side. Kazaa lite
should be one.
Make Kazaa lite a exception by either ticking or unticking (not sure)
Windows firewall will then ignore Kazaa Lite from then on.
In regards to Kazaa Lite I have had it for years and never got a virus or
trojan off it yet. The secret is to check all progs downloaded with your
virus checker before opening. That is easy enough as with my virus checker I
just right click on the prog and I have a option to "scan for viruses"
Hope that solves your problem.
Another prog that caused problems is Zone Alarm. But then again that caused
a lot of problems for me a couple of years ago and I got rid of it (not
easily)
Apparently the prog is a lot better now but I am not going to use it again.
