Kaspersky, how do I view LOGS?

P

Pedro Sanchez

I am currently using Kaspersky trial version. I had it setup to run a
virus scan at 4am but I do not know where I can see the results either
in a log or file?
In Norton it was easily to find.

So does anyone here know where the Kaspersky logs are located OR how I
start them?

thanks,
pedro

Pedro,

Which version of KAV, 5 or 6?

From the KAV 5 GUI, Protection Tab,

1) Click on View reports.
2) Click on Details, or ...
3) Right-click the report that you want to peruse.

For KAV 6, left click the reports box to get to this dialog. You
should find the option to delete, export results to file, etc.

You might download the KAV documentation (pdf) for the KL products
that you are evaluating.

I haven't got that far yet, personally. Just installed it today. But you
could always search the computer for files modified in the last day. Should
make it manageable.

Shane, did you receive my email of yesterday with attachment?

No, I didn't Art. Not with an attachment. If you try again, maybe the gmail
account would be more reliable. I'll check back anyhow.

Let me know if you get my email of just now concerning KAVDOS update
and a NTFSDOS glitch.
