K8V hard disk init

Hello

I have a little problem with my K8V Deluxe. Whenever i turn on my machine it
seems the harddisk is powering off and then on again (sometimes twice)
before it boots the OS. It makes this "click clack" sound. Is this a
problem with this board or should i check the harddrive?

As far as I can tell it puts the drive into suspend mode while POSTing and
then restarts it before booting. Seems daft to me, but that's what
happens.
