K8V Deluxe's USB Header malfunctioning

Hello,

I built a computer with the following and can't seem to fully utilize
all of the available USB ports it has because the last two do not work.
When I say that they don't work I mean, that it seems as they are not
receiving any power. I swap devices to isolate the problem to the
motherboard.

TDK indi 12x DVD-RW/CD-RW Combo

TEAC 7-1 Carder Reader Floppy Combo Drive
Removable "Swappable" IDE Drive Bay

Ok, now there are 4 ports on mobo which are all used, 4 more reside as
headers on the mobo, but only 3&4 work... Is there a way to have them
all work...

Funny you should mention this. I threw a K8V based computer together for a
friend two weeks ago and it works like a dream except for the case hard
drive activity LED. It flashed once initially then refused to work. I
removed the LED from the case front and tested it in a test machine I have
for testing assorted computer bits and it was dead, I replaced it with a
working LED and now it only flashes once in a blue moon. I would like to
return the mobo to the dealers as this is the first ASUS board I have found
with a problem and I can't help but wonder if something else will go wrong
with the board as time goes by.
