The space is very big between the words in a text. when I press the spece
key, it beheavs like a tab...what shall I do.

It sounds like you have set Justified alignment. Either click the Left
alignment button on the Formatting toolbar or go to Format>Paragraph--Indents
and Spacing and choose Left alignment under the General heading.
