down......any help on this issue would be of help. i aslo
have a problem in converting dynamic hdd's to a readable
format in XP home. I know once they have been converted
in xp pro you cannot changed them back. problem is that i
have dat on these drives that i wish to use any
sudgestions or known software to help me would be great.
I dont have xp pro now as i have i am not allowed to
install that os. i have to revert to xp home, as i bought
this version

Hi,

The shutdown problem could be due to overheating. Check that all fans (both
case and cpu) are running properly and that the intake and exhaust vents are
not clogged with dust. Make sure there is plenty of ventilation around the
drive tower.

WinXP Home does not support dynamic disks, there is nothing you can do to
change this. You would need to install WinXP Pro.
