I hve been asked to do picts for a local fair next year and would like to put
the picts on pp and then have the people that see it be able to buy the picts
if they want... the problem I have no idea how to start...all I know I will
need is a pc, projector, and a flat wall, and someone there to take orders,
upload and that sort of thing.
I have tried inserting a picts to the page and that didn't work..the pict
was much to big. So is there a way to ...1 download the picts to the pc and
to the pp as quick as possible and 2 do a general overlay with my logo on
all the picts as they run. I am looking to be quick...
Or if ther is someone on here that is a pro:} that lives in Northeaster
Colorado...:} That is not going to be doing much the first of next Aug:}
Thanks in advance

What version of PowerPoint are you having?
If you do not need to crop the pictures, you can use the PhotoAlbum feature
which is available for PowerPoint 2002/XP and above. If you are using
PowerPoint 2000, you are required to download a separate add-in.

First, put all the pictures into one folder.
To insert the pictures using PhotoAlbum, go to PowerPoint, click Insert >
Pictures > New PhotoAlbum.
Click File/Disk.
Locate the folder, Ctrl-A to select all the pictures.
Click Insert.
Under Album Layout, click on the picture layout dropdown field.
Select 4 pictures or 4 pictures with title.
Once you are done, click Create.

If you want to insert more than 4 pictures on a slide, check this out instead:

Hey lil'

The first thing I would suggest that you invest in is IIW by Shyam.
(http://skp.mvps.org/iiw.htm) I created a 600 slide presentation (based on
everything in my Pictures folder) with an overlay text in just under 5
minutes. I would have been done sooner, but I forgot to insert the text on
the first run.
