just bought a tiny PC, a new Nimble V5, a thin client

The CPU is a VIA C3 Eden 733MHz, 256MB DDR memory, 30GB HD, Windows XP.
This PC is tiny -- about the size of 2 paperback books put together. It
only uses 12 watts and is silent (fanless). These new "thin client PC's"
are pretty cool. Of course, there's no case space for upgrades but has USB
ports out the gazoo for adding peripherals.

If they are running Windows, why are they called a "thin client"? Usually
that terms relates to the software it runs, not its physical size.

Yeah, but if you look at it like that, it's still a big PC - just more
spread out :) But it's amazing how small they make things nowadays. If
you don't need anything extra, that's tiny.
