Just a few pages from a Word document is all that I need.

Let's say I have a 10 page Word Document (any version). I just want to have
pages from the document (say pages 3 and 7) and put it somewhere else
(either email or just take the two pages and put them into another document).
Is there a way to quickly do that other than deleting all the other 8 pages?

No. Word doesn't do "pages". You are going to have to delete out the data
you do not want.

If you want to keep the header/footer and any nondefault margins, then the
answer is no.

If you don't care about those things, then just copy/paste to the destination
(or into a new blank document, easily created with Ctrl+N). A quick way to
collect several unconnected pieces is to use the "Spike", a variation on the
clipboard: select some material and press Ctrl+F3 to cut it to the Spike, repeat
as needed, move to the destination document, and press Ctrl+Shift+F3 to paste
the entire contents. In the source document, you can either Undo or close
without saving if you don't want the cuts to be permanent.
