Junk email filter not working after installing Office 2007 Home&St

My email junk filter stopped working, which seemed to happen after I
installed Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student. The upgrade does not
include Outlook 2007, so I still run Outlook 2003. Has anyone had this
experience? Is there a solution other than canning the upgrade or paying
more for Outlook 2007?

I dont believe its anything to do with installing H&S 2007
Is it not working at all, or only with certain msgs?

Thanks for responding. It is not working at all. All the spam is ending up
in the inbox. Earlier it was being filtered very effectively to the junk
email folder.

Try running a repair of Outlook 2003

I have exactly the same problem. Immediately after I installed Offic 2007
Home & Student version, the Outlook 2003 junk mail stopped filtering. Please
let me know if there is a fix for this.

Thanks again. I appreciate your trying to help me. I ran "repair" twice
(once from control panel, add/remove and once from "help" in Outlook as you
suggested. It made no difference.

You don't need to run repair, just go to Add/Remove Programs (set to show
Updates), scroll down and look for the last Junk Email Filter update and
uninstall it (take not of the URL where to find it again). Then go to the
URL and download and re-install the Junk Email Filter update (yes, the one
you just uninstalled).

Rob: Thanks so much. I think this worked. I see the first junk email in
the junk email folder instead of my inbox! After days of having to delete
hundreds from my inbox. What a relief.

Wyn: I hope this works for you, too.
