JumpMenus and File Renaming Mismatch

Using FP2003,

I've created some Jump Menus, using the Behaviors options in FP2003. I
noticed that pages that are link in the Jump Menu are not updated if one
renames those files that the Jump Menu points too. However, all other
external links/pages coming into and out of the renamed page work great.

Is this an oversight on Microsoft's part or something funny on my end in
regard to the Jump Menu and renaming files?

FP doesn't update hyperlink contained within script blocks, such as Jump Menus, etc.

That's a real shame, as then you'll have to keep track of what pages and
what images need to be addressed when the directory structure or page
renaming changes.

I avoid using JavaScript to handle navigation. However consider using the FP Include Page component
for these items, then you only have a single page to update, but you will need to use Absolute URL
to pages or images, etc.
