Hi I have win Xp home edition. I am here at work and yesterday started
noticing something while I was typin something. I have a Dell pc that is 1
1/2 years old. And I have been virus free .
But I wonder if any of you have this problem that (reminds me of the old
televisions that the picture gets lines) the screen starts to jump and lines
start to ripple through the screen as well as jump up & down. The lines are
faint and white as in the doc that I am typing. It is almost like the screen
is unstable and wrinkled & trying to flatten out. It is not that big of
rippling effect, but it is visible. here in OE . Perhaps this is not a
windows question but perhaps someone knows if I can fix it. Or what it
could be. Gee I hope my almost new pc is not "biting the dust" - thanks for
your help

Hi,

Most likely it is that you are experiencing electrical interference from
something else plugged into that same circuit. Unplug other devices that are
on that same electrical loop (especially flourescent lights or anything that
uses a transformer).
