.jpgs saving as .bmps

For some reason, most .jpgs that I have been encountering
that I wanted to save to my computer will only save as a
bitmap (.bmp) instead. I know the file is a .jpg, it
even says it is in the url, so why can i, all of the
sudden, no longer download them as j-pegs?

Clear your temporary internet files and try again.

Windfall,

Load up Internet Explorer and click on TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS/DELETE FILES then on CLEAR HISTORY then close IE and open it again and see if that helps.
