I would appreciate if someone could tell me what program can be associated
with a .jpgl file extension in order to open it. TIA. Dick M.

The standard sources list no such extension. Is that perhaps a
typo for "jpg"?

Assuming you mean jpg, it's a very common graphics format and
just any of the many graphics viewing or editing programs can
open it. If you just want to view it, try the freeware irfanview
at http://www.irfanview.com/

I see references to it on the internet (just a google search for JPGL) -- it
just looks like a JPG variant. I assume you've already tried to open it in
some graphics editing program?

Yes, I tried to open it in all the likely programs, Windows Media Player,
Nero, etc., with no luck. I also saw references to it on a google search, but no
answer to my question. It may be a movie-type file. I guess I will learn to live
without it. Thanks for your replies.
