I'm replacing a bunch of PC's running NT4 and Office 97 with ones
running Win2K and Office 2K. I'm installing MS Photo Editor as part of
the overall Office install. This afternoon I had a user tell me that
JPEG files he used to have no problem opening in Photo Editor suddenly
won't. Any suggestions what might be wrong?

perhaps the installation of an application has changed the file associations??

Office 2K is the very last application I install on the PC's before
deployment.

It is a simple registry fix. Check out Microsoft Knowledge Base Article -
260151.

CAUSE
Photo Editor is trying to access registry keys that require permissions that
your account does not have. In this case, information needed to build the
Files of type list and to open graphics files is not available.

The problem can occur on Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Microsoft
Windows 2000 Professional, and Microsoft Windows XP.
