JPEG files will not open

Jpeg images will not open automatically. Sometimes they
show as a url address or sometimes they show as an X.
When they show as a url i can click to open the picture.
When I right click and show properties, under type it
shows none available.

I tried emtying my temporary internet files but it still
did not work.

hmm,,, maybe my guess is too easy... I set the toggle image to images not
loaded. they show as the "alt text". if the image is not found they show as
red x in a square. toggle.exe is just an exe that changes check to uncheck
(or vice versa) for the Show Picture checkbox.

if your problem is as basic as this,
look at tools, internet options, advanced tab, about 1/3 from bottom of
checkboxes...

what does your Show Picture checkbox show? should be checked to display
images...
