Copied jpeg files onto a DVD-R DISK,have viewed them on the disk before but
for some reason files are not now being shown when dvd is played,how can I

Try opening up 'Computer' and right-clicking the drive and choosing 'open'
from the list. Copy any viewable jpeg files to your hard drive.

What method are you using to copy the JPEG files to the DVD? Be
specific.

How are you trying to play them back, from the same computer that
burned them to the DVD, on a set top DVD player?

Copied the jpegs from my computer vista picture gallery direct to dvd,have
played them off the dvd on the computer before but for some reason they no
longer appear when dvd is played on computer,dvd properties shows memory in
use??

If they're viewable then try creating a folder on your hard drive, selecting
a few of the files and copying them across.

Grab some DRY TP. and wipe the smudges off the DVD.
