I am having the same issue and have not been able to get a solution.
Backgroud on my issue is Outlook 2003, exchange 5.5, mailbox size 1.6gig,
using roaming profile. Problem follows me from system to system. my
conclusion is is that it is not the Outlook client. I'm thinking it's a
limitation on the mailbox size that stops the Journal functions. How does
this compair with your situation and have you found an answer yet. you can
