Journal entries recording

My journal has stopped automatically recording entries.
It has not recorded anything for several weeks, even though it is set to
automatically record all items from all programs.
¿How can I restart my Journal recording?
I am using Office Outlook 2003.

Did you ever figure this out - I just moved to Outlook 2003 and it recorded
for a few days and has now stopped??

No luckylady02, never.
I had to change harddisk to other reasons and Outlook 2003 is working just
fine. Journal is automatically recording entries.

Ricardo,

I had this occur also. For me, it appeared to be related to the fact that I
was the owner of several resource accounts and I had added profiles for them
as well as added their mailboxes into my Outlook folders so i could open
their EMails and calendars more readily. As part of this, all access under
all profiles was via my personal ID and password, something I think played a
role in the problem.

To fix it, I had to remove all of the other mailboxes from my personal
Outlook folders AND delete all of the profiles I had INCLUDING my personal
one. Then, I recreated my personal profile but did not create any profiles
for the resources or add their mailboxes under my personal Outlook folders.
Journaling for file saves now works, except for Visio (I still am working on
that).

Interestingly, under the setup I was using, any change I made in the
pernmissions, requests to journal file saves, or other options under one of
the profiles or mailboxes was made to ALL of them as well.

My assumtption is, in my case, using a single ID and password for all of the
profiles and access to add other Mailboxes made it impossible for Outlook to
resolve the question of which journal to store the saves in, and, apparently,
isolate changes to an account to a single account. Not the way one wants it
to work.

My IT guy came and looked at it - and made some adjustments to thru regedit
and it has been working fine. Apparently since I had been using the older
version of Outlook something did not update correctly when we went to Outlook
2003.

I know he walked thru and checked the references to outlook I think to ensure
they were referring to the correct file??? My guess if I asked him he
wouldn't remember either. Whne I have some time I will look thru the
registery and see what was done but not today.
