journal not recording Office 2007 documents

When I configure outlook record files from microsoft office applications in
Journal Options, it does not record any files while outlook is open or closed.
However, using my laptop and same exchange account and office 2007 setting
the same options under journal, it records the files just fine.

I have uninstalled office 2007 and reinstalled it, I have tried to
separately repair it.

No luck.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the exact same problem. The journal suddenly stopped recording Office
2007 documents about a week ago. I checked all of the settings; Nothing.

Yup, there is not any information on the knowledgebase regarding this topic.
If you get anything working correctly, I would really appreciate if you
could post it here for me.
