joining newsgroups

How could I join these newsgroups in gmail or hotmail. My Outlook Express is
no good, even the service providers techs cannot figure it out [surprise,
surprise!]
The problem is I can still access the newsgroups but have problems emailing
messages.
Any ideas?
I would like to access it from other email even Outlook if possible, even
though don't know much about it!

even able to click on that link, i think.. << I really should test that

I am using OE and msnews.microsoft.com. I clicked the link and it just took
me to msnews.microsoft.com in my Folders pane in OE.
