Hi - not sure if anyone can help me, or give a definitive
answer as to the viability of what I want to do.

I have a laptop which I take to the office and plug into
the network where I am a member of a domain. I also use
the laptop at home using a wi-fi card connected to a DSL
router for access on to the web and when necessary a VPN
to the office Exchange server.

I also have a desk PC which also connects to the wireless
network at home.

Is it possible to join the laptop to a workgroup whilst
at home so I can file and print share with the other PC?
I have tried to log the laptop into itself (rather than
the domain profile), but it still shows as part of the
work domain.

Am I asking for the impossible?!

Thanks very much for any help

You would just about have to make a netsetup program for
your office network and your network at home, and then
restart. If that's too much of a hassle try to just enable
and disable two network connections one for your office
and one for your house. Maybe you could try that and get
and idea of what you would need to do.

Mark,

not at all. Please use http://www.michna.com/kb/wxnet.htm to
look at the details.
