Joining a Domain

I am trying to get a Win 2K Pro workstation to join a
doamin controlled by a Win 2K Advanced Server. However,
when I enter all the info, I get the following error: "The
credentials supplied conflict with an exsisting set of
credentials". I am using the administrator account.

Which administrator account?

When you go to system and say I want to change / add this
machine to domain XXXX you then should get the type an
account with domain rights to add this machine. One thing
that might help is to use the "domain name\Administrator"
and then password. This specifies that the Administrator
account used is the Domain account and not the local
Administrator account. You may also just want to change
the machine name as well to one you know is not possibly
on your domain already just in case but I think the ID /
domain specific deal should get you on. Good luck!
