Join Win XP home to an NT 4 domain

i am having trouble joining an Xp home box to an NT 4
domain. i can "see" the network, but I can not access it's
resources. i do not believe that I am able to log on wiht
my domain account either. any suggestions?

Windows XP Home can not join a domain.
If you need to join a domain, you need Windows XP Pro (#2 on the link)
