I don't know whether to post this as a general question, or make a suggestion
to MS.

I will err on asking a general question.

I have no problem with the book. It is good.

I have asked Jim Buyens this question, and he said "it is a Microsoft
problem".

The question is this: I have unsuccessfully tried to access the code on the
companion CD to get the pages, etc., that is being referenced in the book.

How do I retrieve this valuable information contained on the cd.

Run the routine, and it doesn't allow me to open that code section, or even
reference it.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried copy the files from the CD to a folder on your HD?

Did you look for them at

C:\Documents and Settings\JIM\My Documents\Microsoft Press\FrontPage 2003
Inside Out\

as I previously suggested?

If the sample files aren't there, are you sure that you ran the
d:\Sample_Files\setup.exe program (where d: is your CD drive), either
explicitly or by clicking "Sample Files" then "Click Here? from the CD spash
screen?

Is it possible that you received a File Download - Security Warning dialog
box regarding d:\Sample_Files\setup.exe and then, contrary to the
instructions, you clicked Save or Cancel?
