How to become a FP power user?

Tom Miller

I have been using my FP2002 off and on for a couple of years. I have FP2002
Inside/Out ver 2002 by Jim Buyens as well as some other simpler FP books.

Is there an especially good book/tutorial on becoming really, really good at
using FP (2002)? Or is this one of those study many pieces
(html/css/javascript/classic asp) and try, try, try/just build many types of
sites problems?

Thanks,
Tom

There are many books on FrontPage but as you noted it's more a matter of
using it everyday, trying all the features and then learning other features
that aren't specific to just FrontPage but to web design in general, such as
CSS, ASP, DHTML, JavaScript and so on

Become an HTML/CSS power user. Then the tool will be simple.

Murray,
I'm working on it. In an attack of insomia this morning I tried to adapt on
of pages from a previous css course into a nav plus 2 columns with both
columns as "liquid/flexible" column width but it appears I am going to have
review more and probably do the css tutorials I was pointed at to get it to
work.

I have a simple 1 level table that I believe should not be impossible to
re-create in css but clearly I need to read/study more before my next
attempt In a week or two if I can't get it to work I will seek some
advice. Right now I need to "RTFM" (read the fine manual) :)

Thanks,
Tom
