Jet Database Error Message while opening the .MDB file

I am receiving the following error message on a database and can not even
open it up. "The Microsoft Jet Database stopped the process because you and
another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time." I
have tried to compact and repair the .MDB, I have tried to link to the tables
I have even tried to restore an earlier version without any luck. Please let
me know if you have encountered this error message in the past and if so how
you were able to recover the data. Thanks!

First off check that there isn't someone else with the mdb
open. Sounds obvious but has to be said.

Second, have a look at this page on Tony Toews website:
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm

From that page look at the corruption symptoms link, it
sounds like you have a corrupt memo field.
