Hi Panscho :)

Not sure what might be causing the problem, but, here are a few suggestions
you might try:

Javascript does not work (hyperlinks)
http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679
http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/answers2.htm#hyperlinks

You Cannot Open New Internet Explorer Window or Nothing Happens After You
Click a Link

or..........

Work through these pages:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/IEFAQ.htm Tips #21 & 46
http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/answers.htm#new_window

and.

Test your Javascript here:
http://www.dancespots.net/browsertest.htm

also..

You may want to update.refresh your Javascript engine:

The latest scripting engine can be found at:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp

For 2000 and XP go to
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...43-7e4b-4622-86eb-95a22b832caa&DisplayLang=en
The install includes a new jscript.dl

Hope this helps :)

Hi Jan,
Some of the pages you sent was not found and the others did not cure the
problem. Are the suggested remedies valid for Sp2 ? I ask because some of
the actions don't look the same in my pc.
Thanks for your concern

Hi Panscho :)

I apologize that some of the links I posted no longer work, but, I was
unaware the website had been redone and the links no longer valid. I don't
think they would apply at any rate. As you did not mention the version of
Windows or IE you are using, I was only able to provide general information.
It is always best to provide the versions of programs you are using when
posting to the newsgroups, especially when there are many versions, such as
with Windows, and methods and files can vary widely between them. However,
most of what I provided should work with the SP2 as well.
